Davenport Ranch is a gorgeous location next to Lake Austin, Pennybacker Bridge, and situated in the beautiful hill country. The homes in Davenport Ranch are gorgeous and many exhibit breath-taking views of the lake and/or hill country for miles. The houses surrounding the Austin Country Club are massive luxury mansion homes demonstrating the best of Austin luxury real estate. Most of the homes in Davenport Ranch were built in the 1980s to 1990s, with a few sprinkled in from the early 2000s. Davenport Ranch homes for sale are priced into the multi-millions and feature the type of amenities one would expect from Austin luxury homes. You receive a nice sized home for your money in Davenport Ranch though, with the average being 3,500 sqft. There are a few homes ranging over 10,000 sqft in Davenport Ranch though, so there is a very high size ceiling. There is shopping and dining right at the entrance of the community at Davenport Ranch Shopping Center including Opal Divine's, Maudie's Milagro, and Jack Allen's Kitchen. If that's not enough, the Arboretum or Barton Creek Square Mall are in either direction down Capital of Texas Hwy. (360).

There are also many condo complexes in Davenport Ranch, most of which are off of Long Champ Drive which leads to the private, members only Austin Country Club. Some of the Davenport Ranch condos are Davenport Rim Condos, 14th Fairway Condos, Marina Club Condos, Belmont Park Condos, Steeplechase Garden Homes, Deer Creek Condominiums, Winners Circle Condos, and Lakeside Condos among others. There is also Davenport Ranch Patio Homes. All of which are luxury condo complexes and offer premier living, fantastic views, and top-notch location while providing maintenance-free arrangements that are a must for the extremely busy or professional. Most of these condominium complexes are free-standing and look like homes. They are not the small, apartment-like condos. Marina Club Condos, for instance, are mostly over 2,500 sqft. Homeowner's Association dues for these Davenport Ranch Condos can get extremely pricey and what they cover can vary. Make sure to factor a loftier HOA dues payment if your a Davenport Ranch Condo buyer.

Davenport Ranch features many amenities for the recreational types. Austin Country Club, which is right on Lake Austin and Pennybacker Bridge, offers amenities right next door. The Club also features 10 lighted tennis courts, heated swimming pool, fitness gym, a large clubhouse, a large ballroom, meeting room facilities, and 57 boat slips. The course greens right on the banks of Lake Austin are extraordinarily prepossessing.
