Sendera South backs the natural setting of Slaughter Creek Metro Park which features the Austin Veloway. The Austin Veloway provides cyclists and skaters with a 3.1 mile two-way track weaving through the beautiful park land. Sendera has phenomenal access to all the parks and recreation one could desire in their community.

Sendera is extremely close to all the shopping one could ask for. Sendera students attend a very nice collection of schools. The youngest students attend Cowan Elementary School, while the older student's attend Bailey Middle School, Covington Middle School and Bowie High School, which is just right down the street. These are some of the best schools in the Austin School District. Great schools mixed with affordable pricing make Sendera an extremely popular and desirable neighborhood for many.
