If you're interested in Breakaway Park there is a high likelihood that you're interested in airplanes. You also probably have found that the average wait time for an airplane hangar in Austin is at least 3 to 5 years+. This makes Breakaway Park a unique offering for those looking to be close to their airplanes and not wait years to get them in a cozy garage. Breakaway Park does offer tie-down spaces, but they also offer hangars for rent, you can build a hangar, or purchase an existing hangar if available. Only residents of Breakaway Park may use Hank Sasser Airport and it recently has begun allowing residents of Three Points neighborhood to utilize the airport in an effort to boost membership. It should be noted however, that Three Points is a completely different type of home than Breakaway Park, with significantly smaller property sites and less privacy. The entrance fee to use Breakaway Airport is $5,000 and then annual dues of $500/year. A few homes within Breakaway Park that back the runway have built hangars in their backyard. A very unique and very cool feature of being able to land on the runway and taxi straight to your house! This unique feature isn't all that makes Breakaway Park unique. The most expensive luxury home mansions in the community are on Kenai Drive, Juneau Drive, Kodiak Trail, and Talkeetna Lane. The custom homes in this small community are massive and on 1+ acre lots. When you drive through Breakaway Park, located right off of Parmer Lane near Brushy Creek Road across from Ranch at Brushy Creek you marvel at the appearance of the homes in the newer segment of the community.

Houses in Breakaway Park feature everything you would expect from a community full of airplane owners. Exteriors are comprised of stone, brick, stucco, and wood accents. The backyards have pools, built-in grills, fireplaces, sport courts, and airplane hangers. The interiors of the homes in Breakaway Park have such luxuries as elevators, guest quarters, granite counters, built-in commercial chef-worthy appliances, stained concrete, wood flooring, vaulted rafter ceilings, wine rooms, custom painting, copper sinks, and more! Breakaway Park homes for sale were built starting in 1980. Most houses were built in the 1990s, but several of the luxury mansions and other more expensive homes were built starting around 2005.
