Chris Matthews - The Austin Realty Elite Group
Chris Matthews received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Calvin College, a liberal arts Christian college located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Chris believes his degree in Psychology instilled in him a firm foundation for listening to clients' needs and implementing a plan to meet them. During his time in college, Chris met his future wife, a South Korean international student. They were first married in 2006, but have since wed three times: in court, South Korea (for her family), and Michigan (for his family)!
After graduating college, Chris and his wife made the decision to work in South Korea where they launched an English teaching program at one of the country's largest preparatory school chains. The program achieved great success and within a short-time employed and supervised over 20 English teachers from countries around the world.
South Korea brought new adventures for Chris and his wife. He was selected to star in a South Korean TV drama called My Mother is the Strongest (translated) as the main character's teacher. Chris and his wife traveled to many eastern countries including Japan, Thailand, and the Phillipines. They also added their first member to the family, a Yorkshire Terrier named Valen.
Once back in America, Chris moved to Austin, Texas where he launched a career in real estate. Despite moving to the city not knowing a soul, he has built an incredibly successful real estate career through the development of a personable connection with his clients. Along the way, Chris and his wife welcomed two beautiful children into the world who are the pride and joy of their lives. Chris's interest includes construction, woodworking, and being his wife's all-purpose handyman. He likes sports, outdoor activities, graphic design, marketing, people, and REAL ESTATE!

Equipped with an immense technical expertise, he has achieved top-10 search engine rankings for over 150 of the Austin metro's top communities and generated a marketing package rivaled by few in the industry.
